This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the manner in which Simpley (“we,” “us,” and “our”) gathers, uses, discloses, and manages your (“your,” “you”) personal information.  This Privacy Policy, together with Simpley’s Terms of Service and other Simpley policies, govern your use of the website www.simpleyapp.com (“Website”) and any of the following mobile applications: Simpley Customer Mobile Application, Simpley Courier Mobile Application, and Simpley Partners Mobile Application (all collectively shall be termed the “App”) (the App and the Website, collectively, “the Services”).  Any terms capitalized but not defined herein shall be governed by the definition in Simpley’s Terms of Service. 

 

Personal Information

Upon downloading or accessing the Services, you supply us with certain information.  For Customers, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, physical address, email address, credit card number, expiration date, billing address, credit card security code, IP address, email address, bank information, and photographs.  For Partners, we collect your bank information and Employer Identification Number.  For Couriers, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, bank account information, email address, and social security number.   All of the foregoing shall be termed a User’s personally identifiable information (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).  In addition, we collect information from your social media profiles (if applicable), content you create and submit through the Services, your user preferences, your search behavior, and your activity on the Services.  The foregoing shall be termed a User’s non-personally identifiable information (“Non-PII”) (PII and Non-PII shall be termed collectively “Personal Information”).

 

How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information (1) to provide the Services to you; (2) to communicate with you regarding an order and to market and advertise various features of Simpley’s products and services, such as announcements, emails, and events; (3) to collect information for analytics; (4) to improve and test the Services’ performance; (5) for the purposes for which you provide such information; (6) to assist you in accessing information stored within the Services, including remembering information stored on the Services; and (7) to verify the Partner’s identity and compliance with the Terms and to verify Customer’s identity.  Personal Information collected for analytics purposes includes but is not limited to the device you use to access the Services, your operating system, how you were referred to the Services, the date and time you access various pages of the Services, and your IP address. 

 

We may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies on the Services, which allows us to track your activity upon using the Services.  Tracking your activity allows us to create better services and products, which in turn allows us to better serve your needs.  The cookies and similar technologies do not contain information that personally identifies you, except information that you have chosen to provide.

 

Disclosure of Personal Information

We will never share your Personal Information with third parties except (1) with a Partner, Courier, or Customer, as necessary to complete an order; (2) partners we use to perform business services for us; (3) when you give us permission to share such information;  (4) where stated in this Policy; (5) when we inform you that your information will be shared with third parties, and (6) to comply with local, state, and federal laws, and court orders and subpoenas.

 

Storage and Protection of Personal Information

We use commercially reasonable measures to store your Personal Information both online and offline.  Only authorized persons of Simpley, or third parties as otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy, have access to the information. All Personal Information is kept secure by using a two-factor authentication that requires a password and SMS code to verify that the User accessing the account is actually the User.  All PII stored in Simpley’s systems is masked by random generated multi-character keys, hidden within Simpley’s structured data. While we do our best to keep your PII secure, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be accessed, disclosed, hacked, destroyed, or compromised in any other way.

 

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If we do, all changes will be reflected on this page.
